Words of Encouragement
It was determined that it is time to start giving PenDell some nourishment to support the healing process since he is not yet awake or strong enough to swallow.
PenDell was awake a few times today. His words are few and require quite a bit of effort on his part. He looked over at me and managed to express, “How are you doing?”
No surprise that he is concerned about me when he is fighting for his own brain.
