Today was a GOOD day!

PenDell’s sister Sharon came in from Dallas yesterday and is here until Monday.

Erin was able to come down today for several hours.

PenDell finished all meds, is no longer on tube feeding, held some of his own weight during transfer to the recliner and was awake most of the day talking to us! Sometimes we knew what he was saying and sometimes we didn’t, but every word is golden! AND his wonderful sense of humor is returning!

He told me that “they” are lighting candles and singing to him… he is feeling all of you!

We still have a long road ahead and… today was a GOOD day!
